Employee Engagement Isn’t Enough

By Jaclyn Branch

If you weren’t one of our lucky friends or customers that got to see Bob Keller speak live at our user conference, SilkRoad Connections, back in May, you don’t want to miss the re-cap blog post that Sharlyn Lauby of HR Bartender and ITM Group wrote.

In Bob’s keynote presentation he makes the connection between hiring, engagement, performance, and results.  He goes into detail on how hiring the right people that are high performers is one of the key aspects in getting people into your organization that you CAN engage and keep engaged.  Basically, just employee engagement isn’t enough! So check out Sharlyn’s previous post and the cool sketch below that our friend James Dalman drew during Bob’s presentation.  By the way…stay tuned, we have more of James’ sketches on the way!

Thanks Jessica! I do love a good sketch. Do you know Sunni Brown? She’s one of my favorite Visual Notetakers.
