Onboarding is an important step in the lifecycle of any employee. It is necessary to get a new hire involved and oriented in an organization from the very beginning. This is true at every level of an organization, but may often be left up to chance when it comes to onboarding executives.

    The entry is primarily directed to HR professionals. As I am looking for insight and guidance for my upcoming onboarding, the best I can draw from it is that I am alerted the HR folk with whom I will be working next week have a stake in me having a “productive” and “enjoyable” experience. The brevity of the article really limits it to being a very quick glimpse at a few insights.
