Jaclyn Branch

Director, Social Media & Content Marketing

contributor_jaclyn I’m Jaclyn Branch the Director of Social Media & Content Marketing at SilkRoad – welcome to SilkRoad Ink (cool name, huh?)!  In my role, I oversee all aspects of SilkRoad’s strategic social media and content marketing which includes all of the social channels, this blog, web site content, video, marketing materials, case studies, etc.  I love what I do and it’s an honor to be involved in this company and the HR community.
While the majority of my time is spent in the world of marketing talent management technology, there’s more to me than this. For example, I love to read and cook and I’m addicted to researching any and everything. I don’t sleep with socks on. They make my feet feel trapped. I don’t like to chew gum. I’ve been known to bust out into spontaneous dance (i.e. the Running Man or Roger Rabbit or some other jig I’ve made up). Success motivates me. Failure motivates me more. Call me a dork but I find talent management fascinating and want to make sure we’re doing our job and doing it well. So if you have a suggestion or if there’s something you want to hear about, let me know, I’m all ears. I’m addicted to my iPhone so you can always find me at jaclyn.branch@silkroad.com. Happy reading!

Ginger Nixon

Public Relations Manager

contributor_gingerHi! Welcome to SilkRoad Ink! I’m Ginger Nixon, and I am the Public Relations Manager here at SilkRoad technology. I handle most of the PR and social media efforts. I try to stay well-informed of what’s going on in the social media world, and I’ll try to share as much of the fun and interesting stuff I come across, that may (or may not) relate to Human Resources, as I can.
I spend a lot of time in this blog, and I am badgering my [very patient] coworkers, on an almost daily basis, for blog contributions; so if there’s something you would like us to address or talk about, please feel free to let me know! You can leave comments on the blog posts, or email me at ginger.nixon@silkroad.com.

Jimmy Hodson

Manager, WingSpan and GreenLight Implementation Services

My name is Jimmy Hodson and I want to welcome you to the SilkRoad Technology blog. Who am I? By day I am the mild-mannered manager of the WingSpan Implementation Services team. In that role, I manage all of the WingSpan Implementation Consultants. By night I scour various Human Resources sites of interest and pull out nuggets of knowledge that I use to inform our process and make the streets safe for all of our customers who are implementing Performance Management. OK, that might be a stretch, and no I do not have a cape, but I do oversee and participate in all things WingSpan.
This blog will be a place where we will periodically discuss current news, topics of interest or trends that we see in the industry around the Performance Management space. When applicable, I will weave in details or examples of how WingSpan addresses these various topics and hopefully start a dialog with you to understand how we might make things better or to more fully grasp how you, our loyal customers view a particular subject.
Check back and add your comments to the discussion and if you need me, just turn on the big spotlight with my logo on it.

Lindsey Yarborough

Marketing Event Manager

contributor_LinsdayHi, I’m Lindsey Yarborough, Marketing Event Manager for SilkRoad.. Protecting oneself from bird attacks can be tiring work so I try to enjoy the little things…books of fiction, food, friendly conversation and writing interesting and informative blog posts for SilkRoad Ink! My major focus is SilkRoad events and tradeshows which get bigger and better every year. In addition, my role provides me a great opportunity to get creative with our design team on branded collateral, giveaways, signage and so much more. I also do a good bit of writing for the company which requires research and knowledge of the HR field. My goal is to bring that knowledge, along with my work experience, to our readers to truly enhance their minds. Ok, maybe “enhancing the mind” is too great a statement to make but at least you’ll learn a cool fact or two. Let me know what you think at lindsey.yarborough@silkroad.com
